OFFICE LYNC FOR MAC FOR MAC
To make sure you have the most current version, see Microsoft Skype for Business (Lync) for Mac 2011 Update.
OFFICE LYNC FOR MAC INSTALL
Follow best practices for survey design and delivery. Install Skype for Business (Lync) on your Mac If your organization installed Office for Mac Standard 2011 on or after October 1, 2011, then you already have Lync for Mac 2011.

We already have the business version of Office 2011 for Mac, where do I get lync and why isn't there a download link for Lync Seriously confusing. However, it says you need Lync Server which comes with 'Office 365'. You can add contacts from your organizations global address list (GAL), from a Federated network to Lync for Mac, or from the following networks: Windows Live or AOL. Apparently the Lync client cannot add contacts outside of the organization, AOL, and live accounts.

All KU surveys must follow guidelines provided in the KU IT Data Classification and Handling Policy. From what I read at this link, Lync should be available to the public. Im trying to get everyone migrated over to Skype for business but half the office are on Macs.
